Holiday cards, thanks and wishes -- Kim Binfield Photography

A note tonight to thank my lovely clients and everyone who supports me in getting to be creative and make memories for families. I have enjoyed seeing all of the holiday cards this year and my girls have enjoyed taking turns opening them - mostly without fighting ;)  The ones from my clients are especially heartwarming and fun to be a part of and to you again I say Thank You!!

Here's part of our card for this year. I had it printed at my lab on my favorite pearl paper and it turned out even dreamier than I'd hoped. A thank you to my girls also for putting up with having a photographer for a Mom.

As the year closes out, I wish everyone a very happy holiday. Cuddle up with those little ones!

Big Brother and Little Brother -- Kim Binfield Photography -- San Anselmo, Ross, Kentfield Family Photographer

Boys will be boys and brothers will be brothers! I got to spend an afternoon with these two cuties for their recent photo session. As a mom of two girls, I am used to a different sort of energy and I enjoyed hanging out with this Mom and her two beautiful boys. They are all in for fun and adventure. I loved being able to capture their connections and play.

As we turn the calendars to October tomorrow, it's time to start thinking of the holidays.

Baby Smiles and Baby Laughs -- Kim Binfield Photography -- Marin Family Photographer

Sometimes you just need a little something to bring a smile to your face and I have just that for you today! This 11-month-old baby boy had lots of smiles and laughs to share with us... I think you'll find it hard not to smile back yourself, right? This casual session was held at home during morning playtime before afternoon lunch and nap.

baby smiles - Marin Newborn and Child Photographer - Kim Binfield Photography

Four-month-old baby boy. Smiles. Cuteness. Some of my favorite images to date! This was actually a rainy day and so I was very, *very* pleased to find good light indoors mainly through a glass door to the backyard. Baby smiles are so contagious don't you think? :) Thank you to this new family for inviting me to their home. I love the parent photos too from this session. Looking back through my own photos of me with my children they are special ones so I'm glad to have taken these for them.

a trio of sisters - Marin Family Photographer - Kim Binfield Photography

For my first post of 2013 I will be -- catching up on last year! I'm excited to share with you a couple more sessions from 2012. This session is a family with three sisters that I've been lucky enough to photograph three times now. You can "watch them grow" here and here.
